Our latest Wine & Design class takes on a Japanese flair with these trending kokedama succulent balls. Never heard of kokedama? You will! This unique design style from the Far East is getting noticed by floral design influencers & trendsetters all over social media, including Martha Stewart!
Kokedama means “moss ball” in Japanese. It is a style of bonsai gardening used to display plants by suspending the sphere shape using a decorative chain or string. We like to think of kokedama as “living pots.” Kokedama design is a great way to incorporate your favorite succulents indoors, outdoors, or for a show-stopping element at a party or event.
Team member and resident “plant lady” Debbe V will show you step-by-step how to bring this whimsical style to life. Once you learn the technique, you’ll want to make more and hang them all over your home! This is a BYOV (BRING YOUR OWN VINO) design class (wine only please 21 & over only). Light snacks will be offered.
Space is limited, so sign up early to ensure your spot. Bring a friend for twice the fun! Classes make a unique & thoughtful gift. Registration fee of $40 includes everything you will need to create your masterpiece. Don’t forget the vino! Share This Event or Tag Friends who would like to attend this exciting class!
