Our guest instructor Ping Wei taught this class about traditional Japanese style floral design. Ikebana is based on the minimalist design principle that “less is more.” Form is what it’s all about. These students were very pleased with their creations. Check out our fall line up of classes on the Design Classes tab or our Facebook page @azflowermarket.
Team member Louria did a great job teaching our Floral Crown Design Class this past Saturday. Floral crowns are trending especially for brides & their bridal parties. Louria made it seem easy to design these lovely head toppers! Our complete class list is on our website under Flower Classes & also on our Facebook page under Events. See what’s coming up!
We held another open house for our ever popular DIY Your Own Terrarium and it was a hit! There’s something about creating a terrarium that is very satisfying. Customers leave the Market full of pride at what they created. With a little help from our expert team members, they are pleasantly surprised at how well their masterpieces turn out. It’s fun for the whole family, too.

We paired two trending design items, Succulents & Dish Gardens, to create this exciting class! Our very own Debbe V (aka the “Plant Lady”) headed up this class, showing students how to create a well balanced succulent dish garden. Everything you need to create your own can be purchased at Arizona Flower Market, including soil, rocks, wood chips, moss, containers & of course, succulents.
